Since its establishment in 1957, Geol Chemical Co., Ltd. has endeavored to become a company that is trusted by people under our company concept “contributing to society with beauty.” Geol Cosmetics delivers premium quality products from our hands to customer’s hands with heartfelt service—we have even developed a unique consignment system with such a concept. In order for us to meet various needs that come with the change of time, in 2007 we established ROSE HEART, which delivers products directly to customers.
Since the company was established, we have consistently conducted research and development, production, and sales. In research and development, we have constantly challenged ourselves to create unique cosmetic ingredients and formulations. In production, we create every single product with love while imagining our customers’ faces pleased with our products. In recent years, we have earned a high reputation in the OEM/ODM business.
Fulfilling, trusting relationships are comprised of both “circles of people” and “circles of prosperity.” We have been able to make steady development, step by step, by expanding those circles. Go east (turn left) at Minami-Hanauchi intersection and go south (turn right) in front of the Kenmin Ground-mae (along the river). Go east (turn left) at the first bridge and the factory is immediately on the left.

History

March1957	Gentaro Okamura established Geol Chemical Co., Ltd. Sales of gold colloid enriched emulsion “Geol Deluxe” began.
July1966	Received an Academy Award from the International American Institute.
March1967	Celebrated 10th anniversary of establishment.
October1972	Headquarters were integrated into the Okamura Building located in Nagai-Higashi, Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka City.
December1974	Launched “Herbal,” an industry-first cosmetic line enriched with herbal extracts.
March1984	Began the sales of cosmetics industry-first health food “Reishi Mushroom” under a theme of beauty and health.
September1990	Geol Chemical Nara Factory completed.
August1997	As part of the 40th anniversary, the “New Headquarters Building” was completed in Chuo-ku, Osaka City.
June2004	Announced “research results on the pigment inhibiting function by mushroom culture” at the Japanese Cosmetics Science Society.
September2005	Nara Factory acquired ISO9001.
December	Yasuo Okamura received the “Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays.”
March2007	Celebrated 50th anniversary of establishment.
April	ROSE HEART was established as a new business.
April2010	Launched “Kuzunosei,” industry-first cosmetics enriched with “Yoshino Arrowroot.”
June	Patent No. 4523300 “mushroom-derived composition” was registered.
October2011	Patent No. 4845393 “Anti-inflammatory agent containing triterpene derivative” was registered.
